Welcome to this blog spot rightfully titled, "Tacos and Hair Grease!" It springs forth from the wonderful journey that I'm blessed to undertake daily as a result of being married to my husband, Daniel! I am of African American descent, and he is Hispanic, specifically speaking Salvadoran. While we're so very different on the outside, with God's help we make it happen every single day.
Our messages will include very candid articles to make you think, laugh, and sometimes even perhaps you'll be touched to shed a few tears. Yet prayerfully above all, it is our wish that this blog will inspire you to be become a better "you" by embracing your own identity while becoming more tolerant of others, whether married or single. For we're all on a journey of some sort in this pathway called life.
Again welcome, and thanks for visiting!
Lovingly,
Tacos (Daniel) and Heather (Hair Grease)
Please feel free to share of your experience with interracial dating or marriage, even if the situation unfortunately didn't work out. In any case, we are certain that there are some wonderful life lessons that came out of these encounters. Thank you in advance for your positive participation!
